Tags can be applied to individual projects to help you classify your deal pipeline, group related assets, or apply any custom categorisation your team uses.

Applying tags from the projects list

Tags are managed directly from the Projects list — there is no need to open a project to tag it.
  1. Navigate to the Projects list.
  2. Find the project you want to tag.
  3. In the Name column, the project’s current tags are displayed as coloured badge pills next to the project name.
  4. Click any existing tag badge — or the tag icon (shown when no tags are assigned) — to open the tag picker.

Using the tag picker

The tag picker is a dropdown that shows your full tag library:
  • Tags are grouped by their parent tag groups.
  • Currently applied tags appear at the top of the list with a checkmark.
  • Use the search bar inside the picker to filter tags by label.
  • Click a tag to toggle it on or off.
  • Tag changes are saved when the picker closes — you can select or deselect multiple tags in one session before closing.

Overflow badges

If a project has more tags than can be displayed inline in the Name column, the remaining tags are summarised as a +N badge (e.g. “+3”). Hover over the badge to see a tooltip listing all hidden tags.

Removing a tag from a project

  1. Open the tag picker for the project.
  2. Click the applied tag (shown with a checkmark) to deselect it.
  3. Close the picker to save the change.

Filtering projects by tag

To view only projects with a specific tag:
  1. In the Projects list, open the Advanced filters panel.
  2. Select the tags you want to filter by.
  3. The project list updates to show only matching projects.

Managing tags

If the tag you need does not exist yet, the tag picker displays a Manage Tags link that takes you directly to Settings → Tags.
