Each Q&A item in the Counterparty Q&A tab can be opened in a detail panel where you can read the question, write or update an answer, view supporting documents, and approve or submit the response.

Opening a Q&A item

Click any row in the Q&A table to open the item in a slide-over detail panel on the right side of the screen. The panel header displays the item’s display ID and includes:
  • A copy link button to share a direct link to this specific Q&A item
  • Previous / Next navigation arrows to move through the filtered list without closing the panel

Viewing and editing the answer

The detail panel shows the question and the current answer. To edit:
  1. Click Edit (or the edit icon) to enter edit mode.
  2. Update the answer text in the editor.
  3. Save your changes.
If you navigate away while edits are unsaved, Daedaline will prompt you to confirm before discarding your changes.

Mode-specific actions

The action available in the footer of the detail panel depends on your current mode:
Update — saves changes to the seller response field. The button is only enabled when your local draft differs from the saved value.

Bulk status updates

To update the status, priority, or owner of multiple Q&A items at once:
  1. Select items using the checkboxes on each row in the Q&A table.
  2. Click the Edit selected button (or the bulk edit option in the actions menu).
  3. In the bulk edit dialog, update the fields you want to change:
    • Priority — Low / Medium / High
    • Status — available statuses depend on the current mode
    • Owner — assign to a team member from your organisation
  4. Fields where selected items have different values show “Multiple values…” as a placeholder and will not be changed unless you explicitly set a new value.
  5. Click Save to apply changes to all selected items.

Side-by-side PDF viewer

To review source documents while working on an answer:
  1. Click the Toggle PDF viewer button in the detail panel header.
  2. A resizable PDF panel opens alongside the Q&A content.
  3. The panel size is saved automatically for your next session.
A comments sidebar is also available when the PDF viewer is open, showing document-level discussions for the referenced material.

Filtering and navigating the table

Use the filter bar at the top of the Q&A table to narrow items by status, priority, counterparty, or owner. Active filters are shown as badge chips below the toolbar and can be cleared individually or all at once.
