Tags are labels you can apply to projects and documents to categorise and filter them. Your organisation’s tag library is managed centrally from Settings → Tags.
- Click Settings in the main navigation.
- Select the Tags tab.
The Tags page shows all tags available to your organisation in a hierarchical table.
Tags are organised into groups (parent categories) and individual tags (children within a group). In the table:
- Groups are displayed as top-level rows with an expand/collapse toggle.
- Individual tags are displayed nested beneath their group.
Click the chevron on a group row to expand or collapse it.
Creating a tag
- Click the Add Tag button at the top of the Tags page.
- A new row appears at the top of the table in edit mode.
- Type a label for the tag and press Enter (or click away) to save it.
If you click away without entering a label, the new tag row is discarded.
Editing a tag label
- Click the tag’s label text in the table.
- The label switches to an inline text input.
- Edit the label and press Enter or click away to save.
Setting a tag colour
Individual tags (not groups) can have a custom colour:
- Click the colour swatch icon to the left of the tag’s label.
- A colour picker opens. Select your chosen colour.
- Close the colour picker to save the colour automatically.
Tag colours appear as badge pills wherever the tag is displayed — on projects in the projects list and in filter interfaces.
Deleting a tag
Click the trash icon in the Actions column for the tag or group you want to remove.
Deletion takes effect immediately — there is no confirmation step. Deleting a tag group removes all tags within it.
Some tags are provided by Daedaline and cannot be edited or deleted. These are marked with a System badge. They are available for filtering and assignment but their labels and colours are fixed.
